KGAF 1Kumbaya makes a range of Indian and western casual wear for women and men, duvets, patchwork cushion covers, table and bed linen, curtains, wall hangings and different types of bags – shoulder bags, toilet bags, shopping bags, duffle bags, rucksacks and gift bags. There is nothing known aswaste in Kumbaya. Every scrap of fabric finds its way into patchwork cushion covers, cloth bags, doormats and throws, braided handles for our newspaper bags, in fabricard price tags, gift bags and stationery.

The Kumbaya centers are managed by a team of skilled and trained local people. The local team supervises training, production, sourcing, and accounting. We believe that investing in the capacities of a local cadre, who have a stake in the development of the area, consolidates the growth and sustainability of Kumbaya.

Kumbaya products are sold at ‘Kriti’ in Pondicherry, ‘Maya La Boutique’ in Mysore, ‘Gram Bharat’, ‘MESH’ and ‘Urban Weave’ in New Delhi, ‘Home & Style’ in Chennai, ‘Sasha Fair Trade’ in Kolkata, ‘Saaz Paar’ in Jorhat, ‘Serenity’ in Bangalore, ‘GangSutra’ in Jodhpur, ‘A Few Good Things’ in Kochi and ‘The Green Shops’ in Ooty, Kotagiri and Coonoor. Kumbaya regularly participates in as many institutional marketing events as possible with a clear objective of high frequency retail sales, building the brand Kumbaya by our presence and salesmanship, and investing in direct personal relationships with our customers. Every year, the exhibitions we attend are the Dastkari Haat Samiti Crafts Bazaar in New Delhi, the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival in Mumbai, A Hundred Hands exhibitions in Bangalore and Cochin, and Pause for a Cause exhibitions organized by Secure Giving and the Concern India Foundation in major cities across India like Kolkata, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore and Indore.
